How we started
Established in Ogallala Nebraska in 2006

We are NOT a huge faceless corporation. Ogallala Bay Rum is a small (but steadily growing)family owned business.
It started in 2006 when the founder couldn’t find a bay rum reminiscent of his youth. After 130 versions created in the family basement, he came up with a bay rum cologne that quickly became one of the fastest-selling bay rums on the market.
Obviously, we outgrew the basement long ago. Ogallala Bay Rum products have been sold in over 40 countries, a number of retail stores across the country, and in three national catalogs. The product line has grown to over three dozen products with more on the way.
The business was purchased by the founders friends in 2023 who are dedicated to keeping the quality and service that you are all used to while increasing the brand recognition. We’d love to have you as part of our story!
